There are many of advantages to living on the Plateau, one of which is the beautiful sunsets we often see, especially in winter.  This picture was taken on the Druid Hills Golf Course in January, 2009.

    George.
How come the name Druid Hills Golf Course, a strange Celtic name for a Tennessee Golf Course?
Was there originally a big Welsh population in this area?
Has the golf course got some mystic magical attribute?
Lovely showing of the sun disappearing, it does disappear here also.
    Cheers
    Colin

Hi George, having beautiful sunsets is also the case if you are on a hill and at the 5th Floor, haha! I noticed that in Europe there is a very clear division of the sky and land at the horizon just like in your photo. I wonder why here in our country that distinction in the horizon is not very visible, sometimes the margin is not even visible. I wonder if you know the reason for that.

[We don’t have a lovely garden, we just have some plants in a very disorganized setting, sometimes i call my mother’s area as biodiversity garden, to make it more appealing to the mind. Actually i just stopped harassing it because mother is 81, and she plants anywhere].
